About this Event
Whether you're creating visuals for gigs, experimenting with projection mapping, making digital motion graphics, working with analogue liquid light shows, or you're just curious about how visuals bring live experiences to life – you'll fit right in here.
We're building a new community for anyone interested in making visuals for live events, installations and performances. At our last meetup we had event visual artists, creative coders, 3D modellers and plenty of curious newcomers, all getting on brilliantly.
This months theme: Fire and embers
No experience needed. No gatekeeping. Just good people who love this stuff.
What's happening:
- Meet visualists from Bath, Bristol and beyond
- Share your work (bring examples if you've got them)
- Test ideas live – we're bringing two projectors, and you're welcome to bring your own kit
- Help us shape where this group goes in 2026
We’re set up in The Back Bar at The Bell Inn, a cosy space perfect for mixing, chatting and throwing visuals up on the walls.
Looking ahead to May...
In May 2026, Nigel and Felix are producing a brand-new visuals-first event at Roseberry Road Studios – a night built from scratch to put visual performance on equal footing with live music. We'll be looking to this meetup community first when it comes to booking visualists for that lineup. If you want to perform, test out ideas, or just get involved, this is the perfect place to start.
