About this Event

Join us on this picturesque walk through Bath and the surrounding countryside. We'll start this walk in the City of Bath, where we will walk through the historic Georgian buildings, past the iconic Pultney bridge and along the Kennet & Avon Canal towards Warleigh Weir where we will go for a dip in the river (weather dependent). We will then climb up to Claverton down where we will be rewarded with views all across the city before dropping back down.

Consent Form:

If you are booked onto the hike please fill in one of these forms no later than the night before. You will not be allowed to partake in the hike unless you have filled out this form. I will send out a reminder 2 days before the event.

Toilets:

There are toilets at the start of this hike but apart from that you will have to embrace what I like to call a 'wild wee'! If you need to go, just tell someone in the group and hang back for some privacy.

Safety:

I like to make these hikes as enjoyable as possible for everyone, so I keep a slow and steady pace. It's about taking in the views and being in nature, not about rushing to the finish line. Having said that, you are responsible for your own health and safety. If you are unsure as to whether you are fit to come on these hikes, please either consult your doctor or let me know your concerns.

I am a Qualified Mountain Leader and I am level 3 Outdoor First Aid trained so I will be on hand in case of an emergency.

Dogs:

Well behaved dogs are allowed on my walks, however I cannot guarantee that all stiles are dog friendly. Dogs will need to go on leads when walking through livestock or near roads.

Refunds will only be given if the event is cancelled. If you can no longer attend you are more than welcome to sell your ticket to someone else but please let me know if you do so.
