Members of The Dignitaries, The Little Donuts, and The Griffs got together to plug fuzzed-out guitars into reverb-drenched tube amps backed by a swaggering rhythm section. The result is a mashup of punk, vintage R&B, and surf all while giving a nod to their Filipino and Mexican heritage with songs like “Pancit and Meatballs” (a spaghetti western instrumental) and “Marcos y Narcos” (a ‘60s tinged dance number). Bring your dancing shoes to their live show where the suit-clad band promises a night of sweat, and maybe some blood and tears.
The Greezies
The Greezies are a local 3 piece garage rock band from Tacoma in the truest sense. We formed just before the pandemic in our singer’s garage. It started with a uniform love & respect for sixties garage/psych rock bands. All three of us had been in previous acts but never anything as unique as this. With all of the time that the unfortunate pandemic provided, the woodshedding proved to be a creative outlet for us to come up with our sound. It has a strong psychedelic 60’s nuggets vibe for sure with lots of Fuzz & a bit of surf thrown in. Be sure to check us out at our next gig just in time for summer!
The Reaching
Lead singer of Tacoma, WA based band "The Reaching", Jake McVay's original songs are reminiscent of 70's, 80's and 90's crossing genres of Rock, Pop, Country and Soul. Come enjoy some acoustic versions of his songs along with a few classic old school covers.
