Come and join us for a bat walk as we visit Watermead Country Park looking and listening for bats. This site is usually good as all the lakes have lots of emerging insects which a variety of types of bats like to feed on (fingers crossed).Booking is essential.

As with all evening events, even in the summer, the weather can be cool after sunset. Wear warm clothes and bring a torch. The walks may be over uneven/wet ground so please wear appropriate footwear. If the weather looks ‘iffy’ it is worth checking your emails before you set off in case of cancellation. If it is raining heavily or windy the event is unlikely to go ahead. Some bat detectors will be available but if you have your own, please bring it.
