About this Event
Join LWT bat enthusiast Laura as she celebrates the upcoming "International Bat Night" and leads you on a bat walk through Walthamstow Wetlands after hours. After a short introduction about these charasmatic animals we'll head out on to the reserve with some bat detectors to try and see some flying around, and hear them as they emit echolocation calls to find their food. The walk will be fully outdoors and a chance to see the wonderful wetlands at a different time of day.
You are welcome to bring your own bat detector and a red light torch if you have them, but we will also provide bat detectors for the group.
