Bat Safari - River Axe - East Devon Natural Landscape
Three bat species are on the list of East Devon National Landscape’s ‘Elusive Eight’ list of species that are under serious threat, include the Greater Horseshoe, Bechstein and Grey Long-eared Bats.
At our nocturnal wanders under moon lit skies, watch bats dipping and diving under a starry skies and learn more about them and how we can help increase their numbers. All ages welcome.
Saturday 21 June, 9pm - 10.30pm, meeting in Trinity Square. Route less than 2 miles.
First stop will be on Stony Bridge, Castle Hill before following River Axe. Please wear light coloured clothing or hi viz if you have one. Torch or phone torch advised between bat watching stops.
