Take your clay skills further with this intermediate-level workshop led by Chelsea @ Soul Ceramiks. In this 2.5–3 hour session, you’ll craft a striking bat incense holder from rich black clay, learning step by step how to build the form, carve in fine details, and shape a functional piece designed for incense cones.

Guided throughout, you’ll explore construction techniques and decorative carving to give your bat character—whether eerie, whimsical, or somewhere in between.

The design comes to life when smoke drifts gently from the bat’s nose, adding atmosphere to your space. A short break midway will keep the session relaxed while still leaving plenty of time to refine your creation.

After the workshop, your piece will be and fired and the eyes glazed a striking blue, ready to collect in 4–6 weeks. Perfect for clay lovers looking for a creative challenge.
