Join us for a Bastille Day Weekend Pizza Pop-up with Chef Bruce Hill, featuring a collaboration between Gold Ridge Organic Farms + Boonville Barn Collective. Our friends from Anderson Valley cultivate an array of delicious, unique California-grown farm-to-jar chile peppers. Boonville Barn Collective is a woman-owned farm that’s been producing unique chile powders since 2012 in the resource-rich Anderson Valley in Northern California, including their signature Piment d’Ville. It all started when Krissy was a sous chef at The Boonville Hotel and used Piment d’Espelette on everything in the kitchen. It was expensive to import from France and in order to use more of it, growing it here in Boonville seemed like a more accessible approach. Between acquiring pepper seeds, having land available to grow on, and an incredibly willing foreman interested in a challenge, they started growing what they call Piment d’Ville, a California version of Piment d’Espelette.
Krissy will join us to offer tastes of her delicious, small-batch chiles and to share about her experience farming cult favorite artisan pepper varieties in Mendocino County.
MENU & TICKETS COMING SOON. Things are about to get a little spicy around here!
