Thematic Entertainment Presents: Bass & Blunts - A 4/20 Extravaganza!
We're bringing in all our own production for this in collaboration with Hearth Productions who'll be providing their Hennessey Sound Design sound system to be coupled with Second Generation Sound System's Lab Horns. If you came to our Bass Brunch party last summer, you know we always keep things sound system focused!
This 4/20 celebration features an eclectic line-up of forward thinking electronic music producers with an emphasis on live vocal and instrumental integration.

This special event features the SF stop of Josh Teed’s “Taking It All In Tour” where he'll be preforming a live DJ set/violin performance.
Weaving soul touching, intricate melodies together with experimental sound design, Josh Teed's music is an experience unlike any other.
After 20 years with a violin in hand, the 25 year old producer and instrumentalist is aiming to break down the barriers between electronic and instrumental music, by bringing his unique blend of hard hitting bass and outside the box violinistry to ears around the world.

At the age of 6 in a rural mountain home nestled in the deep woods of Vermont, McWavy (Sarah McAndrew) began in depth preparation to become a professional classical pianist.
Along the way, a similarly deep appreciation for jazz and soul music lead to the desire to learn the alto, tenor, and baritone saxophone. Her inspiration to compose what she calls “Future-Jazz” started to grow from the world around her and the broad spectrum of music she listened to in her free time. Her sound is attributed to a culmination of influences from jazz to hip-hop, soul music to classic rock and beyond creating a colorful sound unique to the vibrations within her heart.
With a combination of keyboards, saxophone, and eclectic instrumentation, McWavy’s live performance enchants audiences with impressive on the go improvisation and raw emotional power through colorful layers of instrumentation and live vocals. You can expect her vivid imagination to curate an unparalleled adventure of auditory stimulation for her listeners in every performance.
- Seeded Vision
Seeded Vision is a California based music artist with extensive experience in electronic music production for over a decade. His styles range from lush, intricate pensive melodics, worldly psychedelic dance, and beyond. These intentional sonic creations inspire deep emotion and exhilaration for audience members.
Sean Jesus additionally produces under a collaborative project, @kumaramusic with fellow producers @stakma_ and our friend @opalescence___.

A Sonic Explorer Blending Genres and Dualities:
Based in Chico, CA Opalescence emerges as a multifaceted force in the electronic music realm, fusing bass music, dubstep, neuro, psy, IDM, and hip hop into a mesmerizing audio-visual journey.
Born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Opalescence's musical odyssey is rooted in a commitment to pushing the envelope of music production and sound design. Drawing inspiration from nature, community, world cultures and technology, these influences coalesce to create Opalescence’s signature sound which ranges from lush, dark, bass-heavy dance bangers to pensive melodics, worldly psychedelic and beyond.

B-side resident LiTTLE LiON is emerging as a dynamic force within bass music. Currently based out of Los Angeles, she has propelled forward with an expansive mindset and an unwavering love for the experimental, encapsulating her untamed originality and a relentless drive to push the boundaries of melody with bass. Fueled by an innate passion for music, the mesmerizing allure of light, and the rhythmic finesse of lyrical flow, LiTTLE LiON transcends the conventional role of an artist; she stands as a curator of unparalleled sonic experiences, inviting audiences into a realm where her artistry becomes an immersive journey.

Cidari is an experimental dreampop-bass duo project by Jelly Brennan (aka Cidaria) and Joshua Friedman (aka Schmux), based in Santa Cruz, CA.
Joshua, a bass music artist and producer, is known for his experimental, deep, and dark sounds that resonate with an eerie and powerful depth.
Jelly brings her abilities as a vocalist and co-producer, delivering ethereal vocals intertwined with impactful lyricism. Together, they weave their individual sonic landscapes into a cohesive tapestry, creating a powerful and melodic experience that invites listeners to immerse themselves fully.
At the heart of Cidari's music lies an intricate sci-fi fantasy lore. Their tracks are not just songs, but pieces stories that delve into the snapshots of the mystical Cidari people and their tales.
