All boys and girls ages 9 – 14 are invited to participate in the local level of competition for the 2025 Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship. The competition will be held St. Joseph’s Parish Gymnasium at 149 Cottage Street in Middletown.Walk-in registration and warm-ups begin at 10 am. The competition begins at 10:30 am. Participants should provide proof of age and written parental consent on the entry form. There is NO entry fee.
All contestants will be recognized with a certificate for their participation in the event.
The Knights of Columbus Free Throw Championship is sponsored annually, with winners progressing through local, district, and jurisdictional competitions. International champions are announced by the Knights of Columbus international headquarters in New Haven, CT, based on scores from the jurisdiction-level competitions. The annual event provides an athletic outlet and encourages the values of sportsmanship and healthy competition.
