Basics of Building and Maintaining Healthy Soils

This workshop will help you start your gardening journey off on the right foot. We will begin with the proper way to sample your garden soils, where to get it tested and how to interpret the results of the test. Once you have the results so that you understand what is needed to start your garden off with a solid foundation. We will discuss some of the options on how to build and maintain healthy and productive soils for your garden. Additionally we will touch on the basics of Composting giving you a good platform of information to safely start a compost heap for your gardening needs.
