Basics of a Pinch Pot - Ceramics Workshop

Join me in my personal East Nashville studio for a hands-on clay workshop where you’ll learn the timeless art of pinch pots. I’ve been working with clay for over 20 years, and since 2023 I’ve loved sharing the joy of ceramics through workshops in my space.

In this two-part workshop, you’ll use your own two hands (and some simple tools, if you’d like) to create pinch pots, vases, small vessels, or anything your imagination sparks. You’ll have the choice to work with handbuilding techniques or use my slab roller.

✨Session 1 – Sunday, Sept 21 (3–5 PM): Build your pieces.✨Session 2 – Sunday, Oct 5 (3–5 PM): Return to glaze your work.

No experience? No problem. Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced ceramicist, this workshop is designed to be fun, creative, and approachable.

• 18+ (or accompanied by an adult)
• Snacks, tea, and water included (feel free to bring your own, too)

• A couple of friendly pups may be wandering around the studio 🐾
