About this Event
The Basic Witch Circle will join together on the evening of Sunday February 2nd co-presented with Mz Valentine and StorySpace Arts.
This is a meetup for rebellious wild women of all stripes and their allies to enjoy some serious moonlit fun! (This is not a religious service). We ask that you wear comfortable clothing in this season’s colors -- white or dark green -- and bring a white candle.
During our two hour gathering we will learn about the history of the Wiccan and Pagan holiday Imbolc. The evening will include music, candles, and guided meditation.
The word "Imbolc" means "in the belly of the mother" because the seeds of spring are beginning to stir in the belly of Mother Earth. Pagan rituals commonly focus on observing natural cycles, as seasonal changes or the waxing and waning of the moon. These changes in nature are often used as a metaphor to reflect on our human conditions. We will align ourselves with nature and set personal intentions for the coming season.
The fee for this event is a donation based energy exchnge. We suggest $20-$40. However, no witch will be turned away for lack of funds! Space is very limited. Please reserve your spot today. Tickets will not be sold at door. For more info call: 914-488-4698
