Learn basic willow structure techniques using local willow at beautiful Bridgend
About this Event

Bendable, natural willow stems are the perfect material to use for making plant supports, You will use locally grown willow and learn some basic willow techniques in this friendly workshop.

No experience needed with tuition given on how to assemble. You can choose how big to make your support ( from 60cm up to 1.2m) The techniques can then be used on larger willow supports.

Willow supports are lovely features in their own right, before they are eventually hidden by lush plant growth.

The workshop will held in our cosy Bothy - it is inside but can still get chilly so please bring warm clothes, gloves and secateurs (some will be available).

A hot drink is included in the workshop from our cafe which will also be open for lunch if you're hungry!

Please if you are feeling unwell stay home! We will refund you if you cant make it on the day
