Basic Video Editing for Mobile is part of a migrant worker workshop series presented by Migrant Writers of Singapore and supported by Sing Lit Station.Interested participants may WhatsApp Charo at +65 8247 5515 to register. Slots will be given on a first come, first served basis.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP:
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn the fundamentals of video editing using the CapCut app on their mobile devices.
Topics covered will include:
- Effects: Adding filters, transitions, and color adjustments to enhance video visuals
- Animation: Creating motion graphics and animating text and images
- Keyframe and Masking: Advanced techniques for precise control over video elements
- Sounds and Text: Adding music, sound effects, and text overlays to videos
Additionally, participants will learn basic videography skills using their mobile phones, including:
- Understanding composition and framing
- Working with lighting and camera angles
- Capturing stable and smooth footage
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to edit and enhance their own videos using CapCut, and shoot high-quality footage using their mobile devices.
Note: Participants must download Capcut app before coming to the workshop.
