📢 Surgia’s Basic Suturing Workshop 2025 (GC)Calling all Griffith medical students! 🩺 Ready to master suturing?
Join us on Wednesday, 26th February 2025 for Surgia’s highly-anticipated Basic Suturing Workshop!
We are hosting 2x 1-hour sessions, where you will be able to learn and practise various suturing techniques with the guidance of highly trained surgeons from a variety of specialties.
This is an incredible event for all medical students, as suturing is an essential skill both on placement and in your future OSCEs. Plus, you’ll be able to meet and network with the attending surgeons!
🔹 What you’ll learn:
• Simple Interrupted Suture
• Horizontal Mattress Suture
• Vertical Mattress Suture

Compulsory required to enter the labs or you will not be allowed entry: Griffith Student ID, lab coat, enclosed shoes. Ensure that long hair is tied back (hair tie).
You must be a Griffith medical student. No phones are allowed in the anatomy labs. Clinical wear is not required.
Suture Kit Sales: There will be suture kits for sale at the event.
