This is a free supervision training for supervisors of the Health Psychology Practitioner Training Programme.About this Event
The new supervisor training course will be loosely divided into three sections taught over two days:
1. Setting up supervision (including defining supervision; components of good supervision; supervision contracts and types of supervision).
2. Models of supervision (cultural models; developmental models; integrative models; therapy-specific models)
3. Challenges in supervision (solving ethical dilemmas; when there are concerns about a supervisee’s practices; strains and ruptures)
A follow-up day will occur approximately 4 weeks after the initial training
