Workshop Details:Its great to that you want to sew, double thumbs up, but it's even more important to learn how to use your sewing machine so you can get the best out of it when making your projects.
By learning the most common tecniques required in sewing along with everything explained in a way you'll understand, BASIC SEWING MACHINE CLASS is GUARANTEED to build your confidence on your journey to sewing.
Getting to know the anatomy of your sewing machine and how to use it will help with identifying sewing issues you'll be able to solve by yourself.
Control and guiding sewing practice that will help with finishing off projects nicely.
Create a portfolio of sewing samples, guidance, hints and tips for future reference.
Make an item of your choosing at the end of the course using what you've learned.
You will need:
An A4 pocket book or ring binder to put your collection
Your own sewing machine and Sewing Kit
Fabric and Cotton for samples and to make your final garment.
These are available to purchase on site or on the website.
Workshop Duration:
Tuesday morning at 10.30am for three hours, every week for 4 weeks. Workshop starts the first Tuesday in each month. Please arrive 10 mins to sign in.
Cost:
£30 non refundable deposit is possible to hold your place, but workshop must be paid for in full 24hrs before attending.
