Let's get hands-on! We've got you covered with all the materials and tools for this fun workshop. You will build your own light spinning rod, from an IM6 graphite blank. Participants will learn the essential techniques required to assemble a custom fishing rod. Topics covered include locating the rod spine, grip installation, guide spacing, guide wraps, and thread finishing. Participants are encouraged to attend our virtual class: Rod Building Primer (a webinar) before attending.Note: Your completed rod will require 12 hours to cure in our rotational drying rack. Starting the following business day, rods may be picked up at the convenience of the participant.
This workshop is available to participants aged 16 and older.
