This comprehensive basic pistol class will bring even the newest handgun owner "up to speed". It is designed with a focus on attention to detail, practical application and safety consciousness. No particular skill level is required. Students will acquire a solid foundation in safe firearm ownership, handling and shooting fundamentals through classroom instruction, hands-on exercises and of course, Range Time. Topics covered will include firearm selection, safety, nomenclature and operation of revolvers and semi-automatic pistols. Ammunition, safe storage, maintenance, marksmanship and much more will be covered. Students will be provided a complimentary catered lunch.
