Intarsia is often also known as picture knitting. It is a technique that allows you to knit a number of different colours in blocks over one row. It can be used to work anything from simple geometric shapes to very complicated floral pictures.This class will introduce you to the basics of knitting intarsia. You will learn to make a centre pull butterfly, to work with several colours in one row and to follow a basic chart.
To take part in this workshop, please make sure you can knit and purl confidently.
