About this Event
This event is for anyone starting their journey into food labels, as well as those who are looking to update their labelling knowledge, including recent changes to allergen labelling in February 2024.
It will provide a brief overview on Food Act requirements for food labelling for businesses, including home businesses that are packaging food and the latest changes to allergen labelling that became law in February 2024.
Food labels can provide a wide range of information to help consumers make food choices.
Remember if you are packaging food in any format including for example hampers, grazing boxes, pre-packaged heat at home meals you may need to label your food.
