Precision begins with fundamentals.The Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences, in collaboration with the Ophthalmology Residents and Alumni Association (ORAA), is excited to announce the annual Basic Course in Phacoemulsification on February 28-March 1, 2026.
The course will bring together mentors and trainees for a hands-on, high-yield programme centered on phacoemulsification techniques through discussions by renowned cataract specialists and wet lab sessions.
This two-day, in-person event will take place at the Sentro Oftalmologico Jose Rizal Building, PGH Compound, Taft Avenue, Manila.

The registration fee is P2,800 for residents and P3,500 for consultants inclusive of lunch and snacks for two days.
