A three hour hands-on bicycle mechanics workshop focusing on basic skills required to keep your bike in tip top shape; think weekly bike love to keep your steed happy.
Topics covered:
- Basic Maintenance tool kit components
- Flat repair
- Weekly lubrication routine
- Brake/ shifting demystifying and adjusting
- ABC Quick Check pre-ride assessment
This first class is a great intro to bike mechanics and proper maintenance routine. Participants will work hands-on to understand and master these skills on a shop supplied bike. Prepare to have the opportunity to get some grease under your nails, and some skills under your belt!
Space is limited to 10 people. We will have a waiting list if you miss your chance to signup. If you reserve a spot but cannot attend PLEASE cancel your RSVP so someone from the waiting list will have a chance to attend.
This class is offered for FREE but a donation of $25 is suggested.
Donations can be made in advance via venmo @AshevilleToolLibrary. Or in person, day of the event by cash or card.
