BASHH: Speedrun Edition [INVITATION ONLY - pilot event]

• It's speed networking, but not any ol' speed networking.

• Attendees are curated by profession, there is a different theme each month, and it is GUIDED.

• "What do you mean guided?" you ask.

• Guided means you are handed a card at registration that offers example questions and topics, goals for each connection, next steps for each connection, and more. It's not just sitting down and saying "so what do you do?" because we know that's soul-sucking.

• You'll walk away with meaningful connections in your industry, and an idea of what to do next. Even if you hate speed networking (uh we do), you'll love BASHH's Speedrun Edition!

• 9:00 - 10:00 // We'll be setting up, but you can come snag breakfast at one of the food trucks in the outdoor patio out back.

• 10:00 - 10:30 // Sign-in at registration, order a drink and/or snack, and MINGLE

• 10:30 - 10:45 // Group discussion

• 10:45 - 12:00 // S P E E D R U N !

• If you want to stay past noon, they have live music starting at 1:00 and you're welcome to linger if you're making good connections and feelin' it.

• Answering "what do you do" sucks, and although we'll have guidance for you, practice your "pitch" in advance, it's much easier, we promise. Here are two semi-okay videos that might help (here and here).

• Bring yourself, your phone/wallet/keys, your GoOd vIBeS, and maybe a few business cards. Don't bring a printed resume, pets, balloons, BaD viBeS, mimes, or pine cones.

• Dress is casual because we're outdoors and it might be toasty. If you feel like wearing a collar, fine, but no suits. Seriously. We'll be outdoors at shady picnic tables over coffee, don't overthink this.

• If you're curious about why this is on a Saturday MORNING, it's because we're working hard to include the sober community. There aren't many events our sober friends can event that aren't about sobriety itself, and they *deserve* a normal ass networking event, don't you think?

• Because of that, we ask you to NOT ORDER ALCOHOL. It's there, on the menu, but we ask you to be considerate and stick to their phenomenal coffee, lattes, teas, sparkly drinks, bottled drinks, and pastries. Please don't be a dick about it.

• Please don't go stand in line indoors like a commoner, there is a QR code on every table that will offer you the menu and they'll bring it out. This helps us to stay present in the same physical space as long as possible (aww)!
