About this Event
Take any good improv scene and chances are they're using one of the big 4 "comedy dynamics".
This course is designed as a shortcut to understanding these powerful dynamics, so that you can create more compelling, consistent, and FUNNY scenes.
You'll learn how to identify and navigate these fundamental comedy scene types:
1. The "Straight/Absurd" dynamic
2. The "Character-driven" dynamic
3. The "Realistic/Slice of life" dynamic
4. The "Alternate-Reality" dynamic
We'll teach you the best techniques for each scene type, as well as what things to avoid!
A great class for those who have a bit more experience and want to take it to the next level.
