On behalf of François and Stefanie Pambrun, we are hosting a fundraiser in support of François' recent critical medical procedure.
The Cause:
********************
François, being a plumber by trade and an active 35-year-old young man, husband, father-to-be, son and avid lover of the outdoors, has been diagnosed with Degenerative Disc Disease. He had a severe central-left disc herniation which he has been working and living with since 2018. Severe stenosis of the L4/5 discs caused left foot drop. After much testing, seeking specialized medical treatments while enduring pain, weakness and numbness, he was left with limited options.
Most recently, his condition progressed causing excruciating pain leading to hospitalization where he was finally able to see a Spinal Specialist. Our local hospital provided an option to the best of their ability/ resources; of which had odds resulting in a high probability he would need to live an inactive lifestyle, with the possibility of permanent numbness and would require a non-physical career. After doing research and considering options, along with prayers and support, François and Stefanie chose the ONZ Team, who specializes in disc replacement surgery with a high success rate. The catch: he needed to get to Germany and the procedure and associated expenses were NOT covered by Manitoba Health. The cost of the medical procedure, care and rehabilitation, medications as well as travel and accommodations, would amount to around $60,000.
Due to the urgent and critical physical state François was in; this young couple was faced with a hard decision. François and Stefanie as his care companion, travelled to Germany for the disc replacement procedure and extensive rehabilitation therapy. We are extremely happy to announce that the surgery was a success! With physical therapy and further rehabilitation, François is on the road to recovery!
As family and friends of François and Stefanie, we are turning to you all to kindly ask for assistance to raise funds to put towards the debt of this procedure. Your contributions will be supporting the improvement and health for this young couple.

The Legal Stuff:

1. Must be 18 years or older to purchase a ticket.
2. Any ticket buyer will be eligible to witness the draw.
3. The draw will take place at Riverside Lions Club, 188 Worthington Avenue, in the lounge area at 7:00 p.m.
4. Any ticket drawn from the drum will not go back into the drum, therefore you cannot win more than once per ticket.
5. Final Date of ticket purchase will be June 29th, 2023 midnight.
