The monthly all-vinyl Barrio Bugalú was born at one of Chicago’s top audiophile destinations. SRBCC relives Barrio Bugalú with appearances by the original host DJs (Super Barrio Brothers and Agúzate DJ Crew), as well as special sets by some of Chicago’s most avid vinyl selectors.
Held every last Friday of the month, Barrio Bugalú is not just a dance party; it’s a celebration of history, a tribute to the pioneers of Latin music, and a testament to the timeless power of Afro-Caribbean rhythms to bring people together.
