If you want to achieve results fast with tailored tuition to help you reach your fitness and wellbeing goals then this 4 week taster Barre course is for you.Each course is limited to 4 movers who will be joining you on the journey to feeling calm and in control of your health and fitness.
Suitable for dance beginners and improvers:
Barre is an effective workout known for increasing strength, flexibility and endurance – without risking injury or building bulk.
Perfect for improving your balance (thank you toe rises) whilst helping you feel graceful and at ease in your body.
Say hello to your glutes and thighs. Get to know that tremble and feel more powerful for your efforts.
The following details what you will learn in a Barre Workout class:
• A simple warm up moving the spine in all planes of movement whilst focussing on the breath and its effect on the movement.
• Lower body warm up including squats, toe rises and pliés AKA knee bends with the legs in a turned out position.
• Upper body strength and endurance with light hand weights.
• Lower body strength and stability whilst increasing mobility of the hips. Standing side and back leg lifts for example.
• Cardio Legs increasing the range of motion, repetitions and speed movements include leg kicks and curtseys.
• Finishing with gentle stretching to reduce delayed onset muscle soreness.
All choreographed to uplifting and energising music that makes you want to move.
Face to Face classes are held 1.30pm to 2.30pm on Tuesdays starting 1st October.
For the duration of the course you will have access to:
* A weekly face to face class with three other movers on the same day/time each week.
* An online library of 195 videos with stretches and workouts to keep you moving between classes.
* Access to me and my guidance in a private Whats App group.
* Accountability and an instant group of cheerleaders to keep you moving between face to face sessions!
£105 for the 7 week course.
