Barre is a unique and comprehensive dance-fitness-physiotherapy program innovated by Lotte Berk in London, 1959. As such, Berk called her original program Rehabilitative Exercises. Today Barre is a popular dance-fitness modality that fuses exercises and theory from Yoga, Pilates and ballet. You do not need to be an expert in these, as Barre has a language that is abundant in options for tailoring classes for applications in dance, sports, and/or healthcare.
All levels welcome, however, the training is for those with a teaching practice and/or are serious about having one. Upon completion of BTT, fulfilling all requirements, trainees will receive certification to teach Barre and the Lotte Berk Method.
