Barossa Valley Food & Wine Day Trip

When: Friday 7th July (Week 5)

Time: Arrive at 8:00am for a strict 8:30am departure from the Wakefield Campus. Arrival back to Adelaide at approximately 5pm.

Cost: Our Special Student Price is $50! (TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE).

Our Barossa Valley Food and Wine Tour departs Adelaide and heads to the historic German town of Angaston in the picturesque Barossa Valley. Here you will sample beautiful dried fruit from the famous Gully Gardens Fruit Store. Enjoy a tour of the orchard and a chat with the owners before heading down the road to the gorgeous Barossa Valley Chocolate Company. Enjoy a hot chocolate or coffee and tea and a sample plate of the best sustainably made chocolate in Australia.

Lunch will be served at the historic Tanunda Hotel where you can enjoy your meal in front of the old wood fireplace before walking the beautiful leafy streets of the main street. After some free time in town we will make our way to the iconic Seppeltsfield Winery, where we will tour the vineyards and enjoy a private wine tasting with the owners of the winery. From here we jump back on the bus and make our way back to Adelaide to be back on campus by 5pm.
