11th Annual Barney's Run for WarriorsRESCUE TWO LIVES- a veteran and a dog! We are proud supporters of K9’s for Warriors based in Ponte Vedra, Florida. Proceeds from our race purchase a highly trained service dog for an area veteran. Ninety five percent of the dogs trained by K9’s are rescued from shelters with high K*ll rates. The veterans that graduate from the K9’s for Warriors program are able to resume a more normal life.
Our 13.1, 10 k , and 5 k races are USATF certified. CASH PRIZE FOR OVERALL FEMALE AND MALE IN THE 1/2 MARATHON , 10K and 5K!!!!!
Remember you can bring your dog to run with you on the 1mile, 5K or the 10K. Enjoy running on our nearly flat, paved, and well marked courses through Albany neighborhoods. We have plenty of water stations, pit stops, great t-shirts and swag bags.
