After the success of last year's event, we're delighted to announce the return of Barney to Beach: an 8-mile adventure from town to tide in aid of two fantastic local causes.This September, you're invited to tackle the challenge, taking in some of North Devon's most beautiful coastline as you run (or walk) from the centre of Barnstaple to Crow Point, following the River Taw all the way along to the Bristol Channel.
There will be music at the start and finish, as well as medals, prizes, refreshments, and cakes, plus a one-mile Children's Race on the beach at 11am. Coach transport from start to finish will also be available.
Entrance costs just £26.50 per participant with all funds raised going to Families in Grief and Wave Project - meaning that every step you take helps create a more positive future for children and young people in need of a helping hand.
