Join leading academics for free talks on the history of Barking Abbey, including lectures on Barking Abbey's archaeology, literature and music. We will also be welcoming a panel of artists who will discuss how the abbey's history has inspired them to create poems, animation and musical performances.
This event will take place at the Barking Learning Centre, a short walking distance from the Abbey Ruins and Barking Station.
