Steamtown Hot Yoga and Barre will be hosting a Barkan yoga training taught by Jimmy Barkan, creator of the Barkan method.
Since 1986, Jimmy Barkan has helped thousands of people improve their hot yoga teaching methods, which in turn, has helped even more students have beneficial and positive experiences through the Barkan method.
Our studio owner, Christine Baron, has completed several trainings with Jimmy Barkan, the most recent in May of 2025 in Costa Rica, where she received her 500 hour YTT with Jimmy.
