Our Introduction to Barista skills training course is a comprehensive foundation for anyone wishing to become a barista. We give an overview on the history of coffee, green coffee cultivars, harvesting and processing. Then we also cover different brewing methods and principles of extraction. A short lecture on roasting theory and a demo is next. Then we cover the workings and maintenance of an espresso machine, we do practical training of grinder calibration, pulling excellent espresso shots and finally milk steaming practical.
