We are proud to bring to you, "BARI's Pujo", our inaugural Durga Pujo event. This auspicious celebration honoring Maa Durga, organized by the Bengali Association of Rhode Island (BARI), will be held at the Rhode Island Hindu Temple. Join us to bring back the nostalgia of "Sharat Kaal" or the Fall season, create new memories for our new generation and immerse yourself in the song and dance, and festive mood this beautiful celebration symbolizes. Event Progam:
October 12th (Maha Shashi, and Shaptami). Registration desk opens at 9:30 am. Pujo to start promply with Bodhon at 10:30 am. Lunch is included with the event. 12th will conclude at 5 pm with a cultural program and snacks with tea and coffee.
October 13th (Maha Ashtami, Nabomi and Dashami). The event will start at 10:00 am and will feature Dhunachi Nach, Debi Boron and Shindur Khela. The event will conclude at 7 pm with Mishti Mukh.
