This beginner-friendly Bargello workshop in our new studio space at Grit Studios is the perfect way to unwind, boost your mood, and spark your creativity.
What is Bargello??
To keep you on your toes Bargello goes by multiple names such as Hungarian point, Florentine Stitch or Long Stitch. It is a type of canvas embroidery or needlepoint normally stitched using tapestry wool in straight lines to create fabulous geometric patterns.
Why should I try it?
- The repetition and rhythm while stitching is extremely meditative, so relax and indulge your creativity (instead of scrolling on your phone!)
- Begin a new hobby with a complete kit to work from which is easy to slot into your handbag to do on your commute, on your holidays or complete from the sofa watching TV.
