Masks optional, but encouraged. We also ask that attendees who chose to forgo a mask put one on before dancing with someone already masked.
Due to current logistical issues acquiring proof of vaccination, we are no longer requiring proof of vaccination to get in the door for our weekly dances. We still strongly encourage people to get the most recent vaccine available in order to protect yourselves and others.
WHAT IS BAREFOOT FUSION?
Fusion as a style was created by dancers from many different backgrounds creating a common dance language, so that dancers of all different styles and skill levels can share the floor. It’s partnered, improvisational, and dynamic. Come on out and learn with us, and you’ll be able to connect with music in a new way, gain a more complete understanding of your body, and join a worldwide community of partner dancers.
Barefoot is a POC & LGBTQIA safer event. This means bigotry of any kind is not tolerated. If you experience or see anything questionable, please let someone on the Portland Blues & Jazz Dance Society team know. Thanks for helping keep our dance a safe and welcoming space for all!
