Take home a bare root tree and get first access to our Spring Plant Sale!Learn about the benefits of planting from bare roots in this program with Horticulturist Kara Hetrick. What’s involved? What maintenance comes with caring for young trees and shrubs? We will go over types of bare roots, bare root production, how to plant, and general tree biology. We will also cover the basics of tree and shrub care and pruning, especially within the first 2-3 years of growth.
Participants will select a first and second choice bare root tree when registering (surplus depends on availability) and will also have the option to purchase more bare root items during the program ahead of our spring plant sale.
