The Barbara King Quartet
"The Great American Songbook - And Beyond"
The Great American Songbook has been defined as a collection of influential American popular songs and jazz standards that have become classics and continue to be performed and enjoyed today. Critically acclaimed jazz vocalist Barbara King, who has toured world-wide and was the co-owner of the renowned jazz and blues Sound Bite Restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen, NYC, will bring her interpretations and arrangements to these classics as well as showcase her original songs that have captivated audiences wherever she performs.
Widely known for her rich melodic tones extensive range, Ms. King recently relocated to Sarasota and has performed to sold-out audiences and standing ovations. Along with her stellar group of musicians, Ms. King will once again grace the stage of the Florida Studio Theatre’s Court Cabaret for an evening to remember!
Joining Ms. King on stage will be a trio of stellar musicians:
