Barbara Barrett will paint an Ethereal Early Morning Scene in Watercolour.Location is in the Parish Centre behind St. Michael's Church, 204 Blackrock Road, Cork. T12 AO20
Renowned artist, Barbara Barrett was born and raised in South Africa. Having worked in the computer industry & moving on to run her own business, Barbara was drawn to study art as a mature student through UNISA and owned her own galleries. Her paintings hang in collections around the world; her largest commission being to paint nearly 150 paintings of birds. She specialises in teaching in watercolour & has been painting for over 30 years in this medium, oils, acrylics & mixed media.

This promises to be an interesting and engaging event which is open to the public & beginner, aspiring & professional artists.
The theme for the artists’ submissions’ for the President’s Prize (awarded at year end) is “Recent Work”, if you wish to bring a personal painting to display at the demo.
If you are "stuck" in a painting you are welcome to bring it along to seek advice from fellow members.
Members €5, non members €10
Refreshments & raffle ticket included. Sign up, or renew your 2025 membership on the day. Card Reader available.
