Announcing our 2024 Barbacoa & Big Red Festival presented by H-E-B is happening at our new location at the Freeman Coliseum (3201 E. Houston St.) grounds and Expo Hall. This event will be both indoors (Expo Hall only) and outdoors beside the actual coliseum building. The event will not be taking place inside the coliseum.
Hungry? There will be tons of space to roam the grounds seeking barbacoa vendors from all over the Lone Star state selling by the taco. Not a fan of barbacoa? Not to worry, we've got tons of other food options to tackle your hunger.
Thirsty? There will be ice cold soda available like Big Red and Big Red Zero. Not a fan of soda? Don't worry, there will be other beverage options such as tea, lemonade, and aguas frescas throughout the festival. We'll also have ice cold beer available throughout the grounds.
