Bluestone (Bridgewater, VA): Family owned and operated vineyard and winery, committed to crafting small-batch wines from locally sourced and estate grown fruit that showcase the very best in each varietal and each vintage. Lee Hartman, winemaker, has been a forward-thinking leader in the state.
Domaine Finot (Charlottesville, VA): Matthieu Finot has the goal of crafting wines that reflect their terroir and the beauty of classically simple winemaking techniques. No destemmer are used, no addition of SO2, the fermentation is limited to the use of natural yeast, and only the most limited intervention is applied between grape and bottle.
