Paris based, Baptiste Lagrave went from classical music to electronic music, influenced notably by labels like Warp or Dominos and artists such as Boards of Canada, Jon Hopkins, François de Roubaix or Trent Reznor. Trained at the National Conservatory of Paris (CNSMDP) and USC Thornton School of Music (Los Angeles), he was inspired by Philippe Zdar, with whom he worked as an assistant at Motorbass Studio, adopting an organic approach to musical machines.His EPs "Empty" and "Pulsions" blend melancholic atmospheres with techno rhythms, inspired by artists like Boards of Canada and Jon Hopkins. His remixes (Alice & The Roof, Phoebe Killdeer, Ryvage...) showcase his affinity for club music.
Concurrently, he composes soundtracks for cinema & contemporary dance performances.
In a constant quest for exploration, he refines his live experience for a rawer, club-adapted delivery, having already achieved success with a sold-out performance at La Boule Noire (Paris) in March 2024 after playing in notable places such as Le Bataclan, Le Trabendo or Le Badaboum.
