(An English description will follow.)Le Centre culturel Kabir commence sa série de concerts PLURICITÉ 2025 avec un concert exceptionnel de BANSURI (flûte en bambou) de Pandit Ronu Majumdar, l’un des joueurs de flûte les plus célèbres de l’Inde. Ronu Majumdar est une légende de la musique classique indienne. Il a appris son art auprès de son père dès l'âge de six ans, puis auprès d'illustres musiciens tels que Pandit Vijaya Raghava Rao et Pandit Ravi Shankar. Outre la musique classique indienne dont il est virtuose, Ronu est très lié à l'industrie cinématographique indienne et a travaillé avec RD Burman, Gulzar, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhonsle et d'autres. Il a enregistré des albums populaires tels que « Ethereal rhythms » et « Heart to Heart » avec l'incomparable percussionniste Zakir Hussain et a également collaboré avec de célèbres artistes occidentaux tels que Ry Cooder, Jon Hassel, Lary Coryell et George Harrison.
Rejoint par l'incomparable Indranil Mallick, joueur de tabla, ce concert promets d'être une expérience inoubliable pour tous.

Kabir Cultural Centre begins its PLURICITY 2025 concert series with an outstanding BANSURI (bamboo flute) concert of Pandit Ronu Majumdar who is one of the most famous flute players in India. Ronu Majumdar is a legend in Indian classical music. He learnt his art initially from his father from the age of six and later from illustrious musicians such as Pandit Vijaya Raghava Rao and Pandit Ravi Shankar. Besides Indian classical music of which he is a virtuoso, Ronu has a deep association with Indian film industry and has worked with RD Burman, Gulzar, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhonsle and others.
