Ever seen the island on the river and wanted to visit? Here's your chance! We will be starting our 2025 Touring & Event Season out on mysterious and historic Bannerman Island, on the Hudson River.The first walking tours of the year will take place starting May 2nd. The boat for these tours, the Estuary Steward, departs from the waterfront in Beacon, New York (across from the Metro North train station).
Tours will likely sell out in advance - if you're interested in visiting, please be sure to reserve tickets ahead of time, as tickets often sell out. Tours depart promptly at 11:00am, 12:30pm, 2:00pm and 3:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. The whole experience is approximately 2.5 hours.
Tour Highlights:
- A scenic cruise on the Hudson River to and from the Island.
- A guided walking tour of Bannerman Island where you'll learn about the Island, the work being done on it, and its storied past; including areas previously not accessible to the public.
- Enjoy walking among the many gardens that are maintained around the Island.
- Entry into to the recently-opened Bannerman family residence.
- Multiple photo opportunities in one of the most picturesque settings in the Hudson Valley.
