140-years after Park University students first kilned the bricks and 40-years of dedicated efforts, the Banneker School Foundation and Historic Site will be hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony to officially mark the completion of restoration. The Banneker School was one of three schools in Platte County built to educate African American children.
