Celebrate the freedom to read! The Livingston Public Library invites you to our first ever Banned Books Scavenger Hunt in honor of Banned Books Week from Sunday, October 5th to Saturday, October 11th. Explore the library and find some of the most challenged and banned books in history. Mini versions of the books will be hidden in all the adult areas of the library. Visit us at any time between October 5th and 11th and find as many books as you can for a chance to win our grand prize. Pick up a list of hidden books at the Reference desk starting October 5th.The banned books scavenger hunt is open to all adults ages 18 and up. The children’s wing is not a part of this scavenger hunt; no clues will be hidden in the youth wing or the cafe area.
