Join us Sunday, October 5th, for a Banned Books Week Read-In!We’ve teamed up with @librofm and @silentbookclub to host a #BannedBooksWeek Read-In on October 5th from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm in protest of censorship. Join us as we read and take action to fight book bans!
Following our read-in, stay for a discussion and presentation from the League of Women Voters as we discuss book bans in relation to the Constitution.
Attendees will receive a free audiobook copy of Lula Dean’s Little Library of Banned Books
This event will coincide with our usual weekly Silent Book Club, so if you plan to attend our quiet reading session, consider reading a banned book or collecting your free audiobook just by being there!
